In Casablanca, the Morocco Mall (70,000 sq.m GLA, 350 stores plus a cinema and an aquarium) ended the year 2016 with an occupancy rate of 90%, down from 94% in 2015. Traffic has yet to be been confirmed, compared to 18 million in 2015. Opened in 2011, this mall has a unique profile, as owners Aksal Group have a double competency of property developer and powerful franchisor.
